That is the geography of transformation: fear marks the doorway, not the dead end.

The cave may hold grief, failure, rejection, uncertainty, or the terrifying possibility that your strangest idea might actually deserve a life. The treasure is rarely a shiny prize. More often, it is the part of yourself you abandoned outside the entrance: courage, imagination, honesty, purpose.

The dragon guarding the gold may simply be your own voice saying, “Who do you think you are?”
